Senior UX Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating empathetic product UX via pragmatic storytelling, detailed flow mapping, interactive prototyping, and usability testing.

You will conceptualize, communicate, and pitch your ideas frequently in front of your peers across product, business, tech, and marketing.

Our ideal candidate will bring fresh approaches, insights, and convey what's best for the user to interact with a seamless product using best UX practices and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create quick sketches, comprehensive wire-frames, rich visuals, and interactive prototypes to deliver finished design deliverables
  • Partner with Product Team to ideate on product direction and translate user stories into UX solutions
  • Collaborate with product leadership, development managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to help define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, experience, and visuals
  • Document the user experience through mockups, design specs, and prototype demos
  • Create and communicate design guidelines, patterns, and libraries
  • Execute UX and visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Drive design quality, usability, and accessibility standards

Requirements:

  • Masters/Bachelors degree or equivalent in Design or a related field of study
  • Proficient in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator
  • BASIC understanding of HTML5, CSS3 code & basic development practices an added advantage
  • 7+ years of professional experience with UX/UI design and highly interactive products and digital interfaces such as Web Applications, m-web, and native apps
  • Experience in prototyping & visual design
  • Hands-on experience in working with Design systems in the past

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong portfolio detailing strong interaction, thought process, and UX design skills
  • Good knowledge in interaction design principles & user-centered design processes
  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, and composition, information architecture, color theory, fluid grid systems, animation, and transitions
  • Design thinking, creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Be open and attentive to the user's needs
  • Must possess good English writing & speaking skills
