Care for Newborns

Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is seeking highly skilled and compassionate professionals to join its team as Neonatal Nurses. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to providing specialized care to our most vulnerable patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

1. Ensure the safety and security of neonates by consistently following established protocols.
2. Monitor neonates on incubators and ventilators, promptly reporting any abnormal findings.
3. Provide professional bedside nursing care and prepare comprehensive nursing care plans.
4. Assist doctors in the management of asphyxiated neonates, including resuscitation and stabilization.
5. Complete the preoperative checklist before a neonate is transferred to the operation theatre.
6. Provide regular updates on the neonate's condition to parents at least twice a day.
7. Immediately inform parents of any changes in their neonate's condition.

• Specialized Knowledge: Deep understanding of neonatal care, including critical care, resuscitation, and common conditions.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in carrying out medical instructions, managing medications, and maintaining patient records.
• Communication: Strong verbal skills to effectively communicate with doctors, nurses, and especially with parents during a stressful time.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with the NICU team and other hospital departments.
• Resilience: Capacity to handle high-pressure situations and make quick, informed decisions.
• Compassion: A genuine and caring attitude towards neonates and their families.

• A degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• A valid State Registration Nursing Council Certificate is required.
