Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure services, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using Google Cloud Platform monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).
- Implement user access and security policies via Identity and Access Management and service accounts.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for Google Cloud Platform services.
- Configure and manage networking within Google Cloud Platform, including Virtual Private Clouds, VPNs, Interconnects, Load Balancers, Firewalls.
- Automate operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for Google Cloud Platform operations.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform administration and support.
- Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.
- Familiarity with scripting for automation.
- Understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, and compliance.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
