Lead Quality Engineer

This senior-level engineering position offers an exciting opportunity to drive quality management and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Source inspection of untreated and treated parts
- Assembly kit inspection at various supplier locations
- Review and confirmation of documentation clearance through stamping
- Dispatch of products to multiple divisions
- First article inspection report review and partial FAIRs
- Carry out product audits at supplier locations
- Evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
- Conduct structured problem-solving for non-conforming outputs at supplier locations
- Perform supplier audits for in-house suppliers on behalf of the parent company
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering
- 8-10 years of experience in relevant field
- Knowledge of AS9100 standard
- Excellent engineering drawing interpretation skills
- Sound knowledge of special processes
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with 7QC tools
- Good analytical skills
- Knowledge of first article inspection per AS9102
- IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of GD&T
- CMM knowledge and ability to interpret CMM reports
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic awareness of EMS, ERT, first aid, and applicable OCPs for ISO14001
This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality management and a solid understanding of engineering principles.
