Job Title: Freelance Embedded Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Embedded Security Specialist to join our team in the development of industrial automation solutions.

This role focuses on ensuring the cybersecurity aspects of architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of runtime codebases.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will have experience in evaluating, tracking, and resolving product and runtime cybersecurity issues and related technical debt in 3rd party packages. They will also be responsible for managing and utilizing tools for static and dynamic code analysis and software composition analysis.

We require a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in threat modeling, secure coding practices, and software development lifecycle (SDL). Experience with tools such as Coverity, SQuORE, Halgrind, Valgrind, and CppCheck is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate BDBA/BDH findings and work with teams to resolve.
  • Manage qualimetry data for all significant branches (master branch, release branches, component branches).
  • Setup to support new releases as needed.
Requirements:
  • Cybersecurity expertise through guidance in architecting, designing, and mentoring team members during the development cycle.
  • Collaborate with the runtime cybersecurity advisor/coach to ensure each release meets SDL, internal and external cybersecurity standards, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.
