Job Role: Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional with expertise in Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR automation workflows to contribute to the advancement of our security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Workflow Design & Development: Create, maintain, and optimize playbooks and automation workflows in Cortex XSOAR, utilizing strong programming skills in Python for creating scripts and integrations.
  • Custom Integration Creation: Develop and enhance custom integrations using Python, collaborating with SOC, SIEM, and endpoint teams to translate requirements into automated solutions.
  • Security Process Optimization: Work on streamlining security processes through automation, continuously exploring new endpoint protection techniques and integrating them into automation where relevant.
  • Solution Deployment & Support: Provide support in deploying, testing, and troubleshooting automation workflows, documenting best practices along the way.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Cortex XSOAR Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Cortex XSOAR or similar SOAR platforms.
  • Python Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python for creating scripts and integrations.
  • Custom Integration Experience: Experience in building and maintaining custom integrations.
  • Endpoint Protection Knowledge: Enthusiastic about learning and applying endpoint protection concepts and technologies.
  • SIEM Understanding: Good understanding of SIEM concepts (log sources, use cases, correlation rules).
  • Security Operations Familiarity: Familiarity with security operations processes (incident response, alert triage, enrichment, remediation).

Preferred Skills:

  • SIEM Platform Experience: Previous experience working with SIEM platforms (XSIAM, QRadar, Splunk, etc.).
  • API & JSON Knowledge: Knowledge of APIs, REST, and JSON for integration development.
  • Security Frameworks Exposure: Exposure to security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, etc.).

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Communication & Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability & Eagerness to Learn: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
