Expert Application Security Specialist

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Expert Application Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pre-sales technical team, you will serve as the primary technical expert supporting our application security portfolio.

You'll work closely with our Sales team to design customer-centric solutions, deliver impactful demos and proof-of-concepts, and guide organizations on best practices in application security.

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops for our flagship product.
  • Prepare responses for technical sections of requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) and address customer queries.
  • Guide customers in adopting secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Partner with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and application security best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in application security or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with our flagship product or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
