Job Title: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer - Computer Vision

As a highly skilled AI & Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with our international and US-based product and engineering teams to develop and maintain cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain code that leverages computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Utilize machine learning concepts and algorithms, as well as deep learning architectures, to analyze video, images, and large text corpora.
  • Review and train machine learning models, evaluating their performance and making data-driven decisions.
  • Develop product similarity and recommender routines, adjusting them to efficiently work as in-app features.
  • Apply natural language processing techniques for sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and text summarization.
  • Orchestrate computer vision tasks, including image classification, object detection, image segmentation, face and pose detection, movement, and facial expression.
  • Deploy machine learning models to production environments and demonstrate proficiency in version control systems.
  • Gear usage of image and video generation to support business processes for partners and end-customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in AI and machine learning.
  • Gain a deep understanding of products and contribute to driving out product implementation.
  • Join a rapidly growing AI & Data team, taking on both product and technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (tested through interview process).
  • Sound judgment for solving issues pragmatically without adding technical debt.
  • Deep understanding of recent AI solutions.
  • Passion for understanding business stakeholders' problems and solving them innovatively and efficiently.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying cloud solutions and APIs.
  • Proven expertise in computer vision and NLP.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, pragmatic environment.
  • Strong understanding of core computer science principles and standard CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or live-selling platforms is a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with English native speaker or Advanced English language skills.
  • Ability to flex at least 4 working hours to overlap with North American time zones.
