Job Overview:

This role involves supporting the procurement of banking devices, including warehousing and inventory management. It requires working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

  • The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating multiple products/services in the market to meet user requirements.
  • They will compare available goods/services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process, they will finalize vendor and cost options that meet user needs and techno-commercial evaluations.
  • The role also involves supporting user and legal functions for contract execution from a Supply Chain Management perspective.
  • Key responsibilities include handling end-to-end activities related to warehousing and inventory control management for all banking products/devices.
  • The incumbent will coordinate with relevant user functions on a regular basis to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories for each product through proper planning and ordering management.
  • They will review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control and maintain a tracker/repository.
  • Cost savings will be achieved through existing contract negotiation with partners/agencies.
  • The role requires raising the need for agreements (as per contracting guidelines) well in time and ensuring renewals before expiry.
  • It also involves handling import shipments end-to-end, coordinating with foreign partners, freight forwarders, Customs Brokers, and customs departments to arrange materials well in time, meeting user requirements.
  • The incumbent will engage with user functions to understand needs and resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, and imports.
  • They will coordinate with Operations to ensure vendor Purchase Order issuance and other related tasks.
