Job Overview

The position of Regional Cybersecurity Officer is a critical role that involves ensuring the cybersecurity of one or several countries or regions.

  1. This entails acting as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity matters within the region, serving as a liaison between teams and stakeholders to address security concerns and ensure seamless operations.
  2. Functionally managing Sites Cybersecurity Officers is another key aspect of this role. This involves providing guidance, oversight, and support to ensure that all sites within the region maintain robust cybersecurity practices.
  3. Deploying the Valeo Information Systems Security Policy (ISSP) across the region requires strategic planning and execution. As the Regional Cybersecurity Officer, you will be responsible for assessing and improving the level of cybersecurity at different sites, implementing measures to prevent potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  4. Cybersecurity incidents can have significant consequences, making it essential to coordinate response efforts effectively. In this role, you will work closely with teams to investigate and manage incidents, minimizing downtime and protecting sensitive information.
  5. Regular reporting to the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and other stakeholders is crucial for maintaining transparency and ensuring that regional cybersecurity initiatives align with global strategies.
