Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of staff members to deliver exceptional customer service.

About the Role

The Restaurant Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that all restaurant operations run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and handling customer complaints in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of staff members to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Staff Management: Manage and develop a team of staff members, including recruiting, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom organization, and maintain accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant, including regular cleaning schedules and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues efficiently.

Requirements

To be successful as a Restaurant Team Leader, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Supervisory experience is essential
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. However, we welcome applications from motivated individuals who can demonstrate the necessary skills and qualities required for this role.
