Job Overview

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective contract labour management and compliance, driving HR activities for the location, maintaining excellent housekeeping in the warehouse facility, and serving as a single point of contact for all initiatives and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Labour Management: Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage contract labour effectively to minimize risks.
  • HR Activities: Drive HR activities as per corporate directives and ensure timely implementation to enhance organizational performance.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate training and development programs at the facility to upskill employees.
  • Asset Management: Plan and execute preventive maintenance and upkeep of all assets at the facility.
  • Canteen Management: Ensure hygiene and quality of food at both canteens.
  • Vehicle Management: Regulate and control hired vehicle management to optimize resources.
  • Feedback and Quality Control: Provide regular feedback to management for smooth running of the facility and maintain facilities up to desired standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to draft agreements.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Team player with self-initiative.
