Job Overview:

We are seeking a senior platform leader to drive strategic initiatives and ensure governance of our platform. This includes managing multiple product vendors and cross-functional teams within IT and Business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholder expectations across IT and clients.
  • Escalate project issues internally.
  • Align projects with business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of compliance systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve common goals.
  • Maintain data confidentiality.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and audits of compliance systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the yearly IT Roadmap ensuring that project costs and estimates are as accurate as possible.
  • Ensure delivery alignment with business demand.
  • Foster effective partnerships with vendors and align their product roadmaps with our business strategy to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in delivering changes across compliance domains (AML and Sanctions).
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in a related field (Computer Science, Finance).
  • A solid understanding of general banking and business principles is essential for steering implementations.
  • A grasp of business requirements for backend systems, current regulatory topics, and responsibilities is highly preferred.
  • Experience in applying various implementation and project management methodologies is beneficial.
  • Experience in capacity planning, vendor management, and delivery management using cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Fircosoft products and AML solutions like Fiserv would be advantageous.
  • Strong experience in integrating compliance platforms with other banking systems is preferred.
  • Excellent hands-on experience in driving change initiatives in an agile manner is preferred.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
