Senior Manager-Data Center Operations Lead

NTT DATA is a global leader in business and technology services, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Manager-Data Center Operations to join our team. As a critical member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the operational integrity, commissioning, and regulatory compliance of our electrical power, mechanical, monitoring, and control systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise for the entire data center, including electrical, mechanical, and integrated control systems.
- Coordinate daily operations and critical maintenance activities with contractors and consultants.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and ensure data center uptime.
- Directly interface with construction management teams, contractors, and consultants for data center construction commissioning.
- Manage and maintain an aggressive preventive and predictive maintenance schedule for critical systems.
- Ensure data center operations at maximum efficiency, analyzing existing conditions and recommending new technologies.
- Conduct training with operations and maintenance teams on equipment and procedures.
- Manage systems to avoid unplanned outages and ensure data floor and back-of-house electrical loading and capacity.
- Participate in rotational on-call schedules to respond to emergency situations.
- Provide site leadership, implement training, and act as a coach and mentor to site employees.
Requirements:
- Extended experience in data center and critical facilities operations and maintenance.
- Experience managing and motivating critical facilities operations and maintenance teams.
- Extended knowledge of current NFPA Electrical, Fire and Life Safety, and building codes.
- Extended knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and compliance issues.
- Extended familiarity with data trending and analysis and ability to rapidly learn and use PC-based critical monitoring systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Extended proficiency with MS Office Suite and hands-on experience with large commercial and industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
