Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Motion Designer to lead our design team in creating captivating motion graphics and visual experiences for our streaming content. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of designers, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with our Digital Visuals Manager and Senior Art Director to ensure timely delivery of high-quality visuals.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of designers responsible for creating engaging motion graphics and visual elements for our streaming content
  • Provide guidance and feedback to your team to improve their contributions and manage your own assignments
  • Collaborate with our Digital Visuals Manager and Senior Art Director to plan and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Design and develop motion graphics, including logos, lower-thirds, and other on-screen elements for our streaming content
  • Concept and design show and channel identities, graphics packages, and other visual elements for our streaming content
  • Incorporate revisions and ensure approved layouts conform to style guides
  • Deliver final assets to the appropriate teams and stakeholders
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for new initiatives

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a design role creating motion and still graphics for broadcast and digital media
  • At least two years of experience managing graphic and motion designers
  • Working knowledge of design, animation, motion graphics, video, and interactive software, including Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
  • Strong graphic design sensibility, creative approach, and collaborative spirit
  • Deep understanding of animation principles and motion design
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to overall product quality
  • Strong visual style and thorough understanding of typography, layout, color, images, and interactivity
  • Solid understanding of broadcast and streaming design, including network and show graphics
  • Knowledge of the production process, including optimizing graphics, compression settings, and file size
