Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join our design team. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently, manage a team of designers, and collaborate with colleagues across continents and time zones. The ideal candidate will have a strong graphic design sensibility, creative approach, and collaborative spirit. They will be responsible for managing a team of designers, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with the Digital Visuals Manager and Senior Art Director to plan proactively for future work.

About the Role:

The Senior Motion Designer will be responsible for creating visuals that align with the brand aesthetics, handling motion design and design requests for our streaming content, and assisting in creating graphic elements such as logos, lower-thirds, and on-screen elements. They will also concept and design for show and channel identities and graphics packages, from the show open and backgrounds elements to set and scenic design for Social and Streaming programming. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of animation principles and motion design, a meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to overall product quality.

Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of designers responsible for our brands' streaming and social graphics
* Provide constructive feedback to improve team contributions while managing own assignments
* Collaborate with the Digital Visuals Manager and Senior Art Director to remain on top of deadlines and plan proactively for future work
* Create visuals that align with the brand aesthetics and handle motion design and design requests for our streaming content
* Assist in creating graphic elements, including logos, lower-thirds, and on-screen elements
* Concept and design for show and channel identities and graphics packages
* Deliver final assets to the appropriate teams and stakeholders

Requirements:

* 5+ years' experience in a design role creating motion and still graphics for broadcast and digital media
* At least two years' experience managing graphic and motion designers
* A working knowledge of design, animation, mogrts, video, and interactive software, including Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
* A strong graphic design sensibility, creative approach, and collaborative spirit
* A deep understanding of animation principles and motion design
* A meticulous attention to detail and commitment to overall product quality
