Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned OpenShift expert to lead our virtualization efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing scalable OpenShift environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Virtualization Architecture: Design and implement robust OpenShift virtualization architectures that meet our scalability and reliability requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex issues related to OpenShift, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • IT Process Management: Develop and enforce IT processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Server Administration: Manage Windows Servers, including patch management, to ensure seamless operation of our OpenShift environments.
  • Network Understanding: Possess a deep understanding of networking principles and practices.
  • Storage Management: Have expertise in managing storage systems and technologies, including storage management in OpenShift (PV, PVC).
  • Bare Metal Servers: Experience in installing, configuring, and decommissioning bare metal servers, including examples such as DELL and HP ProLiant servers.
  • VM Management: Skilled in deploying, operating, decommissioning, and migrating virtual machines (V2V and P2V), managing the lifecycle of virtual machines in OpenShift and VMware.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of our systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.
  • Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance and security using Prometheus and Grafana to proactively address potential issues.
