Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of our cloud-based project management tools, including Jira and Confluence. This involves acquiring in-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, comprehensively understanding security policies and user management, and integrating third-party solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing users' access permissions according to security guidelines.
  • Ensuring seamless communication across departments and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Identifying new skills and skills gaps within the team and working to improve overall knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Extensive expertise in analysing, troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting Jira and Confluence Cloud.
  • Experience in Atlassian administration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud within a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in cost optimisation by identifying and substituting unnecessary plugins with cloud-native features.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in a cloud-based setting.
  • Proficiency in Shell, Python, and Groovy scripting for automating tasks.
  • Strong knowledge in creating reports on Jira Dashboards and EazyBI.
  • Outstanding implementation skills in managing Jira custom fields, workflow management, and developing common templates.
