Backend Developer Position

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing backend applications using Node.js.

The ideal candidate should have experience with scalable microservices architecture, integrating databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis using Sequelize ORM, and ensuring high-performance backend systems.

You will also design real-time systems using Firebase and Socket.io, implement message queuing systems like BullMQ or RabbitMQ, and follow SOLID principles for clean and maintainable code.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Node JS and its ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of scalable API design, microservices, and background jobs
  • Solid database experience (SQL/NoSQL), auth flows, caching, etc.
  • Comfortable with cloud infra (GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest, version control using GitHub, and API testing tools like Postman
