Project Director Role

The ideal candidate will lead high-end projects from start to finish, overseeing all stages and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and timely completion.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for project execution, incorporating input from stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to enhance operational processes and prioritize strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Strategy and Planning
    • Lead cross-functional teams through various project phases, including design, construction, and procurement.
    • Proactively address escalations and mitigate project roadblocks, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Financial Oversight
    • Conduct regular financial reviews to identify areas for improvement and manage project expenditures effectively.
    • Ensure compliance with established budget guidelines while exploring opportunities for financial optimization.
    • Engage in risk management and support procurement activities related to contracts and negotiations.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Oversee daily operational functions in collaboration with the Head of Operations.
    • Empower a culture of continuous learning and professional development within project teams.
    • Utilize data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations
    • Promote key initiatives and projects across multiple functional areas.
    • Collaborate with senior executives to develop actionable plans for stakeholder engagement and process enhancement.
  • People Management
    • Oversee the performance management of direct reports, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Support recruitment strategies, training, and career progression planning for team members.
    • Foster a motivated team environment through effective delegation and mentorship.
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. Civil) or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Project & Construction Management, with at least 4-7 years in leading large teams.
    • Proven expertise in operations within Real Estate, Construction sectors.
    • Strong background in cross-functional team leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
    • Familiarity with fast-paced work environments and adeptness in problem-solving and data analysis.
