Automation Tester
We are seeking a seasoned automation quality engineer to fill this key role.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement automated test scripts for functional and regression testing, ensuring the quality and performance of software products.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to support continuous improvement.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality to drive excellence.
- Mentor junior team members in automation best practices to foster growth and expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation is essential.
- Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts is necessary.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies is crucial.
- Experience in performance testing is a plus, enhancing our ability to optimize product performance.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in automation testing tools, strong programming skills, and experience with CI/CD tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are also required to excel in this role.
