Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Testing Team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing automation solutions that drive business value.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design architecture of automation projects, leveraging your expertise in test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Promote QA productivity through automation tools and best practices, ensuring efficient test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Assist in ongoing process improvement efforts to enhance test planning, execution, and reporting effectiveness.
  • Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates.
  • Collaborate with teams on automation strategy and tool kit selection, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Perform code reviews, verifying coding standards are met, and mentor junior and senior software quality engineers.
  • Work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • 17-20 years of experience in Test Automation, hands-on with different automation tools, including Selenium, UFT, Web Services, Soap UI, and API testing.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see the test automation architecture as a whole system and drive benefits from its contents for future usage.
  • Experience in BDD Tools like JBehave or Cucumber, CI Tools like Jenkins, Database testing, Built tools like Gradle or Maven, and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer-facing experience is a must, and experience in working with geographically dispersed teams is highly desirable.
