Senior Network Architect

Key to this role is overseeing the strategic development and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.
Job OverviewThis position involves leading high-level initiatives to enhance network performance, scalability, and security. The right candidate will possess expertise in designing and managing large-scale production network deployments, as well as strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols.
Responsibilities:- Design and Implementation: Manage the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of network infrastructure to achieve optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between network infrastructure and business objectives.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Effectively monitor and troubleshoot network performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Upgrade and Expansion: Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives that incorporate security features and future-ready wireless infrastructure solutions.
- Scalability and Growth: Ensure network infrastructure can adapt to evolving business needs and support future growth.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies and controls, aligning with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with network vendors and external partners to secure timely delivery and support for network hardware and services.
- Documentation and Standards: Oversee documentation and compliance with network management standards and protocols.
- Network Architecture: Proficient in designing and managing large-scale production network deployments.
- Network Security: Strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols.
- Integration and Troubleshooting: Experience in implementing OT/IT network integration and managing wired and wireless network infrastructure.
- Solution-Oriented: Expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing effective solutions in a time-sensitive production environment.
