Job Description:- Lead & Mentor: Build, manage, and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set Technical Vision & Strategy: Define the architectural vision and long-term roadmap for our frontend ecosystem. Drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, scalability, and performance.
- Own Feature Management & Release Strategy: Mastermind our release and experimentation strategy using LaunchDarkly. Lead the team in leveraging its full capabilities for sophisticated feature flagging, managing complex entitlements, automating releases, running experiments, and gathering product analytics.
- Drive Design and Product Decisions: Act as a key design-engineering lead, partnering with Product and Design to shape the user experience. Use your expert product sense to influence the roadmap and help prioritize features based on technical feasibility and impact.
- Execute & Deliver: Lead the frontend team in the hands-on development and delivery of our complex, data-intensive enterprise platform, ensuring the team consistently ships high-quality, well-tested code.
- Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with product management, design, and backend engineering to align on a shared product vision. Translate complex business requirements into a clear technical strategy and ensure seamless execution.
- 6+ years of professional frontend development experience, with a proven track record of building complex, data-intensive enterprise applications.
- 1+ years of direct people management experience, with demonstrated success in hiring, mentoring, and leading engineering teams.
- Possess deep, hands-on experience with LaunchDarkly (or a similar advanced feature management platform) to manage complex configuration, user entitlements, release automation, product analytics, and experimentation at scale.
- Demonstrate expert product sense and have specific experience building applications with role-based access control (RBAC).
- Possess deep expertise in TypeScript and React and have a strong understanding of the modern frontend landscape.
- Are a strategic thinker with experience in architectural design and setting the technical vision for a product or team.
- Exhibit strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
