Financial Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to oversee and manage our full spectrum of accounting operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Zoho Books and be capable of handling multi-entity accounting, consolidations, compliance, and financial reporting while supporting strategic decision-making through meaningful financial insights.
About the Role:
This is a full-time onsite opportunity based in Kochi, Kerala with an initial 3-month probation period. As a Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations in Zoho Books, handling multiple accounts, branches, and projects with accurate consolidation, preparing and finalizing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, developing and implementing budgets and forecasts, and managing cash flows and working capital effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations in Zoho Books.
- Handle multiple accounts, branches, and projects with accurate consolidation.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Manage cash flows and working capital effectively.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and vendor/client reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable with timely follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory filings, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial insights.
- Establish and monitor internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
- Identify and implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.com).
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end accounting operations, preferably using Zoho Books or similar cloud-based accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Zoho Books (or equivalent accounting software).
- Working knowledge of taxation laws, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
- Familiarity with MIS reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control techniques.
- Ability to prepare accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in process improvement, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best practices.
