Database Security Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Security Professional to support our initiatives. This role requires expertise in database security, flexibility to work non-traditional hours, and the ability to collaborate with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and implement database security solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, deploy tailored solutions.
  • Perform system changes and updates during off-hours to reduce load on teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firewalls, network connectivity, and server performance.
  • Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Update runbooks, documentation, and tooling to improve incident response and operational readiness.
  • Support post-incident reviews and document learnings.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of alerting systems and operational workflows.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with database security required.
  • Strong background in Linux, System Administration, OS/Server Administration, and Firewall troubleshooting.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently during non-traditional hours.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.

Prior experience with Imperva is a plus, but not mandatory.
