Database Developer

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases that meet the needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database architecture principles and best practices, with experience in cloud-based technologies for migration and integration, query optimization, and maintenance of databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement databases in accordance with end-users' information needs and views.
  • Maintain and optimize existing databases to ensure performance, security, and availability.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
  • Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
  • Provide data management support to users.
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
  • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in MS SQL Server, Teradata BI Tools, SSIS, SSRS, ETL.
  • Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON.
  • PostGIS proficiency and grasp of core geospatial concepts.
  • Able to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security.
  • Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels.
