The role of Senior Associate involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Record journal entries, ensure monthly closure of accounts, and maintain accurate records.
  • Cash Flow Management: Prepare and issue invoices, follow up on collections, process vendor payments, and manage payables as per agreed terms.
  • Account Reconciliations: Perform ledger reconciliations (banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable), conduct monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation, and coordinate with vendors for pending filings. Quarterly reconcile Form 26AS.
  • Compliance: Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
  • MIS Reporting: Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, resolve queries, and provide required documentation.
  • Tax Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of provisions of the Income Tax Act and Companies Act applicable to companies.
  • Software Skills: Work effectively on Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
