Job Title: API Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced API automation specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality automation frameworks for regression and functional testing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API automation testing using REST Assured, as well as hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and BDD using Cucumber framework. You will be responsible for performing automation testing of RESTful web services, ensuring integration across layers, and collaborating with developers and QA teams to identify test cases and implement automated scripts.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in API automation testing using REST Assured.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and BDD using Cucumber framework.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for regression and functional testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test cases and implement automated scripts.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation approach.
  • Create detailed and well-structured test cases and test data for automation scenarios.
  • Maintain and improve existing automation test suites and frameworks.
  • Good to have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control using GitHub or Bitbucket.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in API automation testing using REST Assured.
