Job Title: Hostel Warden

The Hostel Warden will be responsible for the overall management, discipline, safety, and welfare of students residing in the hostel.

This role requires maintaining a healthy, secure, and student-friendly environment, ensuring compliance with university policies, and addressing the needs of hostel residents.

The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day hostel operations, including accommodation, maintenance, housekeeping, and catering. They will also monitor hostel infrastructure and report maintenance issues promptly.

In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining discipline, order, and decorum among hostel residents, addressing grievances and counseling needs of students, and ensuring safety, security, and well-being of students in the hostel premises.

Supervising support staff, coordinating with mess staff, and liaising with university administration on hostel-related matters are also key responsibilities of this role.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Management, Social Sciences, Education, or related field) and minimum 5 years of experience as a Hostel Warden / Administrator.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, ability to handle emergencies with calmness and responsibility, and proficiency in MS Office and record-keeping are essential qualities for this position.
