Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Development

As a Project Designer, you will lead the creation of detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, layouts, and elevations for retail stores using AutoCAD and other design software. Your expertise in BOQ preparation and design coordination will ensure seamless project execution.

Project Execution & BOQ

You will prepare comprehensive BOQs, design specifications, and cost estimates, managing design budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. Your ability to identify potential design or execution issues and provide effective solutions will maintain project quality and timelines.

Space Planning & Layouts

Develop innovative store layouts that optimize space utilization and enhance customer experience while maintaining brand aesthetics. Your understanding of modern retail design trends and consumer behavior will drive your design decisions.

Site Surveys & Assessment

Conduct on-site surveys to gather data, assess requirements, and ensure design plans are accurately implemented during execution. Your attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will ensure successful project delivery.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare construction drawings and documentation, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and brand guidelines. Your ability to collaborate with internal teams, project managers, and contractors will ensure designs are implemented as planned.

Project Coordination

Collaborate with vendors for procurement of materials, fixtures, and equipment. Manage relationships with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and align with project objectives. Your willingness to travel frequently across India will enable you to oversee on-site design implementation and ensure successful project delivery.

QualificationsEducational Background

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is required.Experience

2 - 4 years of experience in project design and execution for retail stores is necessary, with expertise in BOQ preparation and design coordination.Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of additional software like SketchUp, Revit, or 3DS Max is an advantage.Project Management

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, from concept to completion, with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Communication Skills

Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively interact with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
