AWS Cloud Engineer Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure according to best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
    • Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC, ensuring seamless integration and optimal resource utilization.
    • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform, to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
    • Implement robust security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection, to safeguard sensitive information.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance, ensuring maximum ROI.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment workflows, fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
    • Conduct regular cloud cost analysis and optimization to drive efficiency and minimize waste, thereby reducing environmental impact.
    • Stay updated on the latest AWS features and industry trends, applying knowledge to continually innovate and improve our cloud practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features, including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages, such as Python and Bash, for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnetting, NAT, and VPN.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
