Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

This is a challenging role that requires expertise in electrical and instrumentation systems. As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical schematics, power/control panels, and instrumentation layouts to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and instrumentation used in thermal engineering solutions.
  • Select and specify sensors, actuators, control valves, temperature/pressure transmitters, and flow meters based on project requirements.
  • Develop PLC/SCADA logic for control systems using software such as Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley.
  • Oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning to ensure smooth system operation.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, design, and purchase teams for integrated system delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues at the shop or site.
  • Maintain documentation: BOMs, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT protocols, O&M manuals.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and electrical codes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial projects (furnaces, boilers, process plants preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, VFDs, MCCs, LT Panels, relay logics, sensors and instrumentation, and AutoCAD/EPlan/Excel.
  • Understanding of industrial safety practices and CE/IEC/IS compliance.
