Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our data platform in clinical oncology or the healthcare domain. This individual will be responsible for providing technical direction and overseeing the design and maintenance of data systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in areas such as data architecture, ETL, cloud platforms, and big data technologies. Additionally, they must possess crucial soft skills like leadership, communication, problem-solving, business acumen, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement modular, flexible, secure, and reliable data systems that scale with business needs
  2. Integrate pipeline observability to detect and resolve issues proactively
  3. Develop tools and processes to debug, optimize, and maintain production systems
  4. Lead and mentor engineering teams to ensure operational efficiency and innovation

The successful candidate will be able to quickly diagnose and resolve unknown issues across complex systems while maintaining clear documentation of data models, transformations, and pipelines.
