Job Overview

The primary function of this role is to assist the consulting team in all phases of the project including problem identification, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design, and deployment.

  • Explore alternative solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build proof-of-concepts.
  • Create requirement specifications from business needs, define to-be-processes, and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
  • Support configuring solution requirements on products, understand issues, diagnose root-causes, seek clarifications, and identify shortlisted solution alternatives.

This role requires a strong understanding of SAP BODS and its integration with Non-SAP/SAP systems to contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives providing high-quality value-adding solutions to customers.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP BODS.
  • Experience in SAP Data Services (BODS) 4.2.
  • Experience in SAP BODS Integration with Non-SAP/SAP, S4HANA systems.
  • Sound knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in creating views in SAP HANA.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC/BW terms and ability to establish connectivity with SAP as well as non-SAP systems.
  • Tuning jobs for high-volume and complex transformation scenarios.
Preferred Skills
  • SAP Technical -> SAP Business Objects Data Services / Data Integrator (BODS / BODI)
  • Data Management - Data Integration -> SAP BODS
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data.
  • Awareness of latest technologies and trends.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.
  • Ability to assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions.
