Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in human resources and recruitment?

This HR Manager role is responsible for leading end-to-end talent acquisition, payroll, and statutory compliance across multiple manufacturing sites and staffing projects.

  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a large staffing organization or similar environment, managing high-volume hiring, recruiting for blue-collar, technical, and mid-level roles, and coordinating with vendors and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Recruit top talent through various channels, including agency partnerships, campus drives, employee referrals, and external sourcing.
  • Collaborate with business heads and project managers to develop headcount plans and skills requirements.
  • Ensure effective onboarding processes, documentation, and background verification for all hires.

Additional responsibilities include:

Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, salary calculations, reimbursements, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and validate outputs for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle salary structuring, increments, joining/exit settlements, and payroll reconciliations.
Compliance & Regulatory
  • Ensure statutory compliance across labour laws, PF, ESI, and other relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and statutory registers, manage timely filings, and coordinate with consultants as needed.
HR Operations & Employee Relations
  • Administer HR policies, employment contracts, attendance, leave management, shift rosters, and contract manpower compliance.
  • Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and exit interviews, recommending retention and corrective measures as necessary.
People Development & Performance
  • Support performance management cycles, promotions, succession planning, and training needs identification.

Required skills and qualifications include:

Desirable Skills & Experience
  • 4–6 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2–4 years in staffing operations or similar environments.
  • Master's in HR / MBA-HR preferred.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Indian labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, professional tax, and compliance for contract manpower.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and popular HRMS/payroll tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred candidates will have prior experience working directly for a staffing firm or RPO servicing manufacturing clients.
