Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Backend Systems Engineer to develop and maintain our core infrastructure for real-time pricing and analytics in DeFi. The successful candidate will have a strong background in backend development, specifically in Go or Rust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the development of event decoders for major DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Curve, Balancer).
  • Building and maintaining data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data.
  • Implementing logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference.
  • Working closely with data and infra teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimizing performance and accuracy of pricing models (e.g., TWAP, oracle logic, tick-based price resolution).
Requirements
  1. 2–5+ years of backend development experience in Go or Rust.
  2. Strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  3. Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially understanding of AMM math:
  4. Constant product formulas: x * y = k
  5. Uniswap V3 ticks
  6. TWAP / oracle logic
  7. Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure (e.g., Geth, Erigon, RPC APIs).
  8. Experience building data extraction or indexing tools (e.g., subgraphs, custom indexers).
  9. Ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.
