This role entails leading the design, development, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform, as well as a proven track record of leading CMDB projects and teams. They should possess in-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices, as well as experience integrating CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.

Achieving data integrity and accuracy is crucial in this role. The chosen candidate will implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain CMDB documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
  • Perform regular audits and data quality checks.
  • Integrate the CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
