Senior Treasury Professional

This role involves managing the organization's financial liquidity, mitigating foreign exchange risks, and overseeing investments to optimize returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cash management strategies to ensure optimal liquidity levels across geographies.
  • Forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements, identifying potential funding gaps or surpluses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate host-to-host payments and enhance treasury operations.
Foreign Exchange and Risk Management
  • Monitor FX exposures and execute hedging strategies in line with established policies to minimize risk.
  • Calculate mark-to-market valuations and prepare detailed exposure reports for stakeholders.
  • Negotiate with banks on FX transactions and derivative instruments, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
Investments and Fund Management
  • Evaluate and recommend investment options, considering factors such as risk, return, and liquidity.
  • Assess the risk-return trade-offs of various investments and ensure compliance with organizational investment policies.
  • Track portfolio performance, profit and loss statements, and maintain accurate investment registers.
Banking and Compliance
  • Cultivate relationships with domestic and international banks to support treasury operations.
  • Negotiate banking terms to reduce borrowing costs and improve overall efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal treasury policies, maintaining a strong control environment.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare comprehensive management information systems (MIS), dashboards, and treasury reports for senior leadership.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold an MBA in Finance, preferably with CFA/FRM certification.
  • Possess 5+ years of relevant corporate treasury experience, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Demonstrate expertise in financial modeling, MS Excel, and treasury management systems (TMS).
