Job Title: Accounting Manager

Sia Partners is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for our new Indian office and support other accounting teams within the Group.

As an Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Group CFO based in France and be responsible for:

  • Accompanying the opening of our new legal entity in India and setting up local operations based on Group rules and processes.
  • Being a business partner for local management teams within your perimeter.
  • Controlling activity data uploaded in the firm's ERP.
  • Providing and analyzing activity figures, raising issues, and being an alert to management when needed.
  • Providing analysis and requested decks for local management meetings and steering committees.
  • Processing accounts receivable for your perimeter.
  • Managing customer projects in Sia Partners' timesheets and invoicing system.
  • Monitoring and controlling consultants' activity.
  • Administering invoices in the accounting system.
  • Following up customer payments and managing your DSO.
  • Managing payables, including supplier tracking, archiving, and keeping invoices in the accounting system.
  • Controlling, archiving, and maintaining expense sheets in the accounting system.
  • Handling bank statements and reconciliation.
  • Managing payments and cash-flow.
  • Dealing with the monthly VAT return.
  • Performing monthly and yearly closing and reporting.
  • Booking all cut-off entries and requested accruals to ensure a good separation of exercises.
  • Reviewing your accounts and providing an analytical review to the Group.
  • Local and corporate taxes calculation and booking with the support of a chartered accountant.
  • Managing the entity's cash and providing accurate cash forecasts to the Group.
  • Supporting other entities of the Group.
  • Recruiting and managing a team dedicated to other entities in the Group.
  • Coordinating annual closure and consolidation with the external auditors.
  • Creating forecasts and budgets with business partners.
  • Ensuring a good level of internal control within your perimeter, segregation of duties, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of mixed experience in an audit firm, as a financial controller or head of finance in a firm.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with good decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • Fluency in English (written + oral).
