Job Summary:

Expert Bookkeeper Sought

We are a dynamic organization seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.

This role requires expertise in managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
  • Process payroll and superannuation contributions (if required).
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
  • Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably with Australian clients or companies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
  • Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) with clear, professional, and confident communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solving skills.
