**Job Title:** DRG Auditor

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled DRG Auditor to join our team. As a DRG Auditor, you will be responsible for performing an in-depth review of select inpatient medical records to ensure that the assigned codes and DRG are supported by clinical documentation and all diagnoses and procedures are coded with the required specificity and the discharge disposition and the POA are correct.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform in-depth reviews of select inpatient medical records
  • Mentor and train other coders
  • Provide ongoing feedback and education to coding staff and Clinical Documentation Specialists

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or science
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in IP DRG coding or auditing
  • Certification as a CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) or CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with 3M software and NLP tools
