Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our Controllers group, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the firm's assets and ensuring the integrity of our finances and expenditures.

Our Controllers group is responsible for managing the firm's liquidity, capital, and risk, as well as providing financial control and reporting functions. You will work closely with our professionals to assess the creditworthiness of our counterparties, monitor market risks associated with trading activities, and provide analytical and regulatory compliance support.

As a Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the firm's success by ensuring that our businesses continue to be profitable and efficiently run. You will also ensure that all business practices are in compliance with financial and regulatory requirements worldwide.

In this role, you will experience Goldman Sachs' businesses, products, and sophisticated technology systems firsthand. You will work collaboratively with our teams to develop and implement effective financial controls and reporting processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the firm's financial data and reports
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks
  • Developing and implementing financial controls and reporting processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, or CMA
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products and utilities
