Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Database Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in SQL-based testing, backend validation, and data-intensive application testing.

This role requires strong skills in writing complex queries, validating large datasets, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases focused on database and backend validation.">
  • Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to validate business logic, data integrity, and workflows.">
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.">
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.">
  • Perform backend testing to ensure proper integration of applications with underlying databases.">
  • Identify, log, and track issues using test management tools.">
  • Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues.">
  • Prepare detailed test documentation including test cases, execution results, and defect reports.">
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of database testing processes.">

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on database testing.">
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, joins, stored procedures, and functions.">
  • Strong experience in data validation and reconciliation across multiple systems.">
  • At least mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, reporting).">
  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.">
