About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead finance functions: forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and reporting.
  • Owning strategic planning and partnering with leadership to drive business expansion.
  • Develop and implement financial models that provide actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Provide clear and concise financial information to investors and the board.
  • Oversight of audits, compliance, and legal coordination with external partners.
  • Building and leading a high-performing finance function that scales with the business.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6–10 years of experience in finance, preferably in startups or e-commerce.
  • A deep understanding of consumer businesses and marketplace economics.
  • Strategic finance expertise – thinking big and long-term.
  • Experience building financial systems and models from scratch.
  • Strong collaboration skills, having worked closely with founders or senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver results quickly without compromising accuracy.
  • A background in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Quick-commerce (Q-commerce), fashion startups will be an added advantage.
