US Tax Leader

This is a dynamic and challenging role for an accomplished tax professional to oversee and supervise our tax team.
Key Responsibilities:- Tax Compliance: Prepare and review complex US federal and state tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1041) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and supervise tax staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to help them grow professionally.
- Tax Planning: Develop strategic tax planning approaches for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates to optimize their tax situations.
- Research and Solutions: Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues and provide solutions to clients, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to IRS and state tax regulations, communicating directly with clients as needed.
- Certification: Possess a valid CPA or EA certification.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Have at least 10+ years of experience in US taxation, with extensive technical expertise in 1040, 1065, 1120, and estate/trust returns.
- Leadership Expertise: Prior experience managing and mentoring teams is highly desirable.
- Tech Proficiency: Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and US tax law, proficiency with US tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax).
- Skill Sets: Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills are essential.
