Job Description

  • Lead enterprise development initiatives in the social sector, focusing on women-led Plastic Collection Centers and e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection.
  • Develop market linkages to ensure decent income opportunities for target groups.
  • Collaborate with government departments, including state urban/rural livelihood missions.
  • Establish institutional linkages at the district level with banks, incubator/accelerator programs, retail outlets, and e-commerce platforms for financial and marketing support.
  • Implement skill training initiatives and develop knowledge management products showcasing project impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project operations and learning, enhancing technical quality through regular coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans and budgets, supporting project teams in achieving defined objectives and targets.
  • Issue relevant directives and guidelines for timely and effective implementation of project activities.
  • Proactively identify operational challenges and coordinate timely solutions with the project team and Director – Social Additionality.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector.
  • Experience in social business development is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of social and environmental sustainability concepts.
