**Job Title:** Fund Accounting Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee open and close-ended hedge funds, reconciling trades with clients and integrating them into our system.
  • Account for corporate actions trades, prepare daily, weekly and monthly GAV/NAV reports that include booking capital activities, market value reconciliation, profit and loss computation for financial instruments, expense accounting, dividend accrual reconciliation, bond coupon accrual reconciliation and confirming trial balance ledgers with sub-ledgers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MBA or Chartered Accountant degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, preparing and reviewing financial statements.
  • Knowledge of financial and capital markets products such as equity, bonds, futures, options and FX forwards.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Certification course in financial markets/products.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting software.
  • Background in mutual fund accounting/audit.
