Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of cutting-edge IT hardware, software, and related services. This role involves strategic sourcing, negotiations, contracting, ordering, delivery, and settlement.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing procurement cycles, mitigating risks, developing alternative solutions, and optimizing spend to achieve speed and cost excellence.

This position requires a strong understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as experience in managing large-scale procurements within complex organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure all types of IT hardware, software, and related services
  • Negotiate contracts, place orders, deliver, and settle procurement transactions
  • Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Manage procurement risks and develop alternative solutions
  • Optimize spend to achieve speed and cost excellence

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in engineering (Computer Engineering, IT, or Electronics)
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in Materials Management (PGDMM) or MBA in IT Systems

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative approach and process orientation
  • Strong ethics and IT/computer savvy

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to the Head of Procurement.
