Procurement Specialist Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end transactional procurement processes, improving process reliability and service level, and increasing overall quality and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement
  • Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the GBS function
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests
  • Report expertise to extract reports from SAP as per requirements from Business
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to PO's created
  • Communicate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience with strong negotiation skills required
  • SAP module knowledge and experience also desired
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures
